The Q4 works in both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz wireless modes, this 802.11a/b/g/n Dual Band unit has the theoretical limit of 144 megabits per second of 802.11n and 300 megabits per second of 802.11a (the the first and second models were 802.11b/g which ran 54 megabits per second). It also has two detachable 3 dBi antenna so that you can connect other antennas.
